Chinonso Ukah hails from Abia State, in South-eastern Nigeria. Her parents Mr Kalu Ukah and and Mrs Ijeoma Ukah lived in Lagos where she completed her secondary school education at Command Secondary School, Ipaja. She went ahead to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Public Administration at Babcock University.

Chinonso eventually ventured into acting around mid-2015, making her debut in the Nollywood horror film Quiet. She began ull-time acting in 2017, following her admission to university.
