Timini Egbuson is a fast-rising Nigerian actor and model popularly known for his roles in Tinsel, Shuga and the all-time top grossing Nollywood movie, A Tribe Called Judah. 

Early Life

Timini Egbuson was born on July 10, 1987 (36 years old) in Bayelsa state in South-southern Nigeria. His parents are Bridgette and Samuel Egbuson. He has two brothers; Stanley and Samuel Egbuson and one sister, Dakore Egbuson-Akande, who is the oldest and a famous actress in Nollywood.

Education

Timini had his primary school education at the different schools; Greenspring Montessori, The Afro School and St Catherine’s. He then attended Adebayo Mokuolu College in Lagos . To further his education, Timini pursued a degree in psychology at the University of Lagos, graduating in 2011.

At the moment, Timini is neither married nor in a relationship. The notable actor revealed that he is not ready to consider marriage, as he prefers to focus on his career.

The actor was previously involved in a relationship with Nigerian model Lydia Agahan Balogun, a student at Babcock University studying International Law and Diplomacy.  Lydia began dating Timini in 2019 when she was 19 years old, while Timini was 32. Their relationship garnered criticism from the public due to the significant age difference. On August 16, 2021, Lydia took to social media to reveal details of their past relationship, accusing Timini of being manipulative, unfaithful, and habitually pursuing relationships with younger women.

Timini Egbuson was rumored to have been romantically linked with Nigerian actress, model, and media personality Nancy Isime in early 2023. This speculation arose after a short clip surfaced showing Timini Egbuson and Nancy Isime enjoying each other’s company. However, neither party has confirmed the allegations, and it appears that they have no relationship ties.

Career

Timini Egbuson began his journey as a professional actor in 2010, as he made his debut on the popular soap opera Tinsel. However, it wasn’t until 2013 that he skyrocketed to fame by landing the role of Tobi in MTV’s acclaimed series Shuga, which focused on HIV awareness.Timini Egbuson
